A month back, I was in search of a place that blends pristine beauty with rich history and culture, and Bali was the perfect fit. Ever since I experienced Bali and came back home, the spiritual energy of the place doesn’t seem to let go. This is a haven for all travel enthusiasts who are looking to mix experience with nature.
Before I headed to Bali, I made I was methodical in my packing approach. Since it was going to be a short trip, I needed to pack just enough to enjoy my outfits along with keeping it light. Hence, I suggest anyone traveling for a short trip should start with a list of items to carry. Pack only the essentials and take advantage of the unique shopping experience on the beautiful island. The first and most important thing to bear in mind is buying the right luggage. From the plethora of brands out there, I chose to go for a Tumi backpack that effortlessly blends quality and functionality with style. I bought a ruggedly refined roll-top backpack that would withstand the wear and tear of my adventurous journey. It also had very strategically placed pockets that seemed very attractive to me. The one I carried was the Carson Backpack which was like a style statement on my shoulders.I made sure to include beachwear, quick-dry travel wear, flip-flops, first-aid kit, mosquito repellent (just in case!), layered clothing, travel documents, and toiletries. Surprisingly, all of this fitted just perfectly into my sleek and versatile Tumi bag.
The highlight of this trip for me was certainly exploring the less traveled East Bali. They’re home to pristine coral gardens teeming with colorful marine biodiversity. One place you must definitely explore is the scenic central highlands of Ubud. The stunning valleys, forested rivers and flowing rice fields of Ubud offer a treat not only to the cultural day trippers but also to the adventure seekers and shopaholics in equal measure. So, make Ubud one of your must-explore destinations in Bali. You will be amazed by the virtually endless sightseeing opportunities this little town has to offer! And don’t forget to travel light to enjoy the journey.

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.
Why do this?
The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.
To help you get started, here are a few questions:
You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.
Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.
When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
